The work is prioritized on the scientific quantification of carbon footprints, the allocation of carbon footprints across supply chains, industrial chains, and value chains, as well as decarbonization potential and policy measures for industrial chains.

Research Theme 3: Pathways and Policies for New-Type Industrialization. This research is dedicated to the pathways and policies for new-type industrialization. The key focus areas include developing evaluation metrics and development pathways for new-type industrialization, researching green and low-carbon development pathways and policies under the "Four-Chain Integration" (innovation chain, industrial chain, capital chain, talent chain), and assessing the resilience and security of industrial and supply chains.
