
Dr. Muhammad Nauman earned his Ph.D. in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics from Jiangsu University, China, in June 2025. He previously received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. (Hons.) degrees in Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. In recognition of the excellence and impact of his doctoral research, he was awarded the PhD Excellent Dissertation Award by Jiangsu University in 2025.
In December 2025, Dr. Nauman joined the Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University as a Postdoctoral Fellow under the supervision of Professor Chen Longfei. His research focuses on the advanced development of micro-scale combustion systems utilizing green aviation fuels, aiming to achieve ultra-low emissions and carbon neutrality. His work integrates computational fluid dynamics, detailed chemical reaction kinetics, and multi-physics optimization.
Dr. Nauman has published 28 SCI-indexed journal articles, including four as first author, in leading international journals. He also serves as a peer reviewer for several high-impact journals in the fields of energy and combustion.
